I have to side with windswept and say Constantine was an enjoyable film. Not a great film by any means. Just a fluffy, fun, popcorn genre film. Peter Stormare played the best Satan I've seen in a while. Maybe since Viggo Mortensen played the debbil in The Prophecy. I also thought Tilda Swinton rocked as Gabriel but not as much as Christopher Walken's Gabriel. I'm trying to figure out where I've heard the accent Keanu used in this film before. If you see this film, stay through the end credits. If you saw the film and left before the credits were over then serves you right for not showing respect for all the people that go into making a movie. You missed a cool last scene.

I enjoyed Constantine.

I thought it was lost of fun, and I did like, as you did, Gabriel...

In which movie did Walken play Gabriel? I do like him.

I may go back this afternoon--there isn't much out yet, and I didn't wait till the end of the credits!
Christopher Walken played Gabriel in The Prophecy, a very entertaining film directed by Gregory Widen. Worth a rental.
I'll add it to my Netflix list. Thanks!

I know people think Keanu can't act, but I disagree. I think he is an introvert, and that is filtered through his characters.

I thought he was just right for this part.
I also believe Keanu can act when directed properly, and placed in the right venue. The purists for the graphic novel on which Constantine is based disagree most vociferously, however.

An aside on The Prophecy; the sequels, as is typical, are not worth renting despite both also having Christopher Walken in them.
